Overview
The Outer Hebrides lie to the west coast of the Scottish mainland and offer an insight into a more traditional lifestyle less common upon the Scottish mainland coupled with stunning beaches, coves and bays. Visiting The Islands of Lewis and Harris and other parts of the Hebridean archipelago it is possible to visit the enchanting Luskentyre Bay, the mysterious Callanish Standing Stones and the awe inspiring Butt of Lewis.
This isolated island cluster offers a glimpse into the traditional way of life practiced throughout Scotland through the ages offering the opportunity to track the history of Scotland throughout thousands of years of human history.
The Outer Hebrides are reached via ferry service from Oban on the Scottish mainland or the Isle of Skye in the Inner Hebrides providing scope for an Outer Hebridean tour to be combined with many aspects of the West Coast and Isle of Skye tour.
Tours to the Outer Islands would normally commence in the central belt of Scotland where our major airports are located and therefore tours would travel through other parts of Scotland en route to the Islands. Please take a look at our other tour locations and mention if there are any places you may wish to be included into your itinerary.
